Ok what the fook??!?!?!! Nobody can read what I am typing in Chat in the Gayspy lobby! I am worried that I am stuck in some Sixth Sense type of situation where I actually died and am making up these games....

Anybody else had this problem, with phantom chat (my name for it)?

totally pissing me off.

Nemesis asked me something this afternoon, and I couldn't respond, tried to Bawk at my Chikens and they just ignored me.

You might want to check that you dont have the entire lobby on ignore!

I think its one of the gay spy mods has put you on ignore mate. I think Ahab is also on it as well and MVB as well? Anyway I wonder who is this gayspy mod as he/she seems to be adding people to this auto ignore list and it seems to be people who dont flam to often or without good reason.

Who did you argue with or beat before this happened?

as far as i know, Ahab has been Muted for his comments in the lobby, but i'm not 100% sure about that (btw, ahab is no longer FC).
I didn't know about MVB, but laserflip has been banned from Gamespy altogether, he can't even get to the CD Check stage.

Looks like HW2 may have another problem...

Ahhh....so that is why. I saw you in the lobby after our game but just assumed you were AFK. Let's try some tests tonight if your on. We'll get on comms and see what the deal is.

I would suggest in the mean time if you could setup another profile (not that you would EVER smurf) and see if you can chat in the lobby.

Maybe they just decided to add a feature where anyone can mute anybody in the Gamespy lobby any time they lag.

I think you get muted for repeated expletives, banned for racial comments.

I think chatmonitor is someone from gamespy, that checks the room/logs every now and then.

I dont like the chat mon, when we have a perfectly good ignore function.

I don't think I've ever seen Guerilla flame anybody. I've also definitely got a bigger potty mouth than he does. My guess is anal retentive mod watching at the wrong time. Still, if they don't inform you that they've done it or why, that's just plain silly.

I think it bans by CD key - so be aware, that smurfing folks wont make a difference.

You are right on there SUAS, it is the CD Key. B/c the alternate G-Chiken name I use doesn't work, and neither does my old smurf....
Haven't checked yet, but when it does work you can count on me filling up the lobby with chat.

Oh well didnt know, but i dont say much in the Hw2 lobby cept i call ppl pussies all the time cuz every one quits when i get a dessy or 10 squads of ints, or when i get 10 rigs, or when anyone get any kind of combat ship pretty much eveyone quits.

Really gets on my nerves.

Why cant people actually play a whole game, the second someone lose a collestor or carrier or anything they quit.
