yes because there are so many changes and additions over beta 1 they say u have to delete the old Mod/MWLL folder completely before installing beta 2

i went the whole hog and deleted the folder then unstalled and reinstalled Crysis as well and everything works perfectly

Beta 2 is a lot better than 1 in lots of ways they have changed a lot of maps to fix problems like getting stuck walking over tree stumps lol and totally reworked the mech prices
before it was simply mechs prices where just on weight classes , now it reflects the loadout as well
so now u cant affored the lrm20 missle pisser from the start u have to work abit to be able to buy it :P

well i have successfully taken out several LongToms using my ERPPC & Clan Guass ShadowCat

Just stay passive crouch down behind a hill and pop tart from 900m they cant see u and they dont know what hit them :P

The ones who whinge are all the players who have come from other games the MW4 players can counter these things without a second thought

The long Tom in MWLL is an evil beast and will one shot kill any mech but the problem with the whingers is that they run into the open with radar on and stop to aim and shoot then complain when a shell vaporises them in seconds

if u use stealth u can counter a longtom vehicle easy enough

have u tried capturing a mech by jumping on it, blasting through the Cockpit with a Bear AutoCannon and killing the pilot so u can get a free mech

if the guy jumps out to try to get u first and if u are quick enough u can jump into his empty mech and kill him with that

i've blasted a few pilots after jumping on their mechs - most amusing. I steer clear of stealing their mechs... usually kill abandoned ones for the credits and team score.

Yes all vehicles can be repaired except if an arm or a component has been destroyed with the exception of AMS. if that gets destroyed then a visit to the repair bay will replace it

The APC has been added in Beta 2 but at the moment its just for rearming and as a spawn point for elementals but in future updates it will be a mobile field base to carry out repairs as well

The APC is a little annoying, havent figured out how to get my desired loadout yet... you start with the beam laser and I prefer to ditch that for something else

Tried running around in LRM tank and find the controls a bit sensitive. But I am having a blast ankle biting with an element. It definately takes some getting use to the controls.

Especially with different enviroments and gravities.

My favorite is the noobtards who complain about you poptarting out from behind your walls being protected by your base turrets, and then call it SPAWNCAMPING!!1!1!1@@1@!12!@OMGIAMSOGAY!!1212123@# @#

Alright now that I have that out of my system... Long Tom's are a gift from the almighty awesomeness. While it takes some getting used to its pretty straight forward, on the right hand side of your reticle is a distance and time to target indicator. Match those with a tag on your radar and you've got yourself one cooked and unsuspecting mech ^_^

My favorite way of taking out the Long Tom Primes is taking a VTOL with the Light gauss and just pick away at it piece by piece with my radar off. It's funny to see the guys hop out and look around to see who's shooting at them only to get a light gauss shell to the face from 1100 meters away XD

yep pop tarting is still an effective tactic, they arent supporting 3rd person because they say it gets abused by poptarters but its still easy enough :)

My favorite sniper mech is the ShadowCat C.
ERPPC, Clan Guass and 2 Machine guns its the perfect pop tarter with a big punch out to 900m and machine guns to take care of those pesky elementals

only drawback is it can only carry 12 guass rounds so its handy if theres an APC around for reloads :)

yea i poptart in that thing a lot and i never use third person for anything other than to look at my mech while im walking back to the mech bays for repairs
