'Mech Packs Total Ripoff?

Don't how much these cost, but are those snake oil peddlers actually charging 15-20 bucks just so you can get five more 'mechs?

4 new mechz in each pak. You should be able to beat that price. I got my pakz for $8 each.

They are worth it too, the mech pak mechz are actually very good, especially the Highlander.

I think they are worth it if you like to try different mechs and technology. Besides the 8 new mechs (four per) you get heavy gauss which is pretty fun to use, IFF jammer, streak MRM and enhanced optics which is very cool for taking screen shots (and I guess usefull in the game, but I like the standard better). You also get two new maps (one per) but you can DL them for free without the paks.

I really didn't use much out of either pack but every once in a while running around in a jumping 100 ton Kodiak can be fun :D

That tech must have been downloadable too. It was all in the version of Mechwarrior that I got.

Mercz haz the weaponz and mapz built in, but not the ability to uze the mechz. You will fight mech pak mechz in the campaign but can't uze them without the pakz.

Plus for absolutely FREE they include the additional installation of C-DILLA onto your hard-drive for no extra cost!

I don't mind the idea behind C-dilla, I just don't like that it runs all the time even if you are not playing MW4.

As I recall if you installed Mercs you got C-Dilla. You can turn it off in your registry.

The mech paks are worth every penny.

Ive had the problem of paying 12 bucks for each and after i installed em' they showed up on the sides of the mian menu like one time, but now i cant get either to be recgonized at all.

Ive reinstalled the packs, but i dont really feel like searching for my single player games then re-installing the whole mw4 game.

Any ideas ne one?

Go into your MW directory and delete the mech pack directoriez. That iz what I had to do.
