Those Sprint or AT&T usb 3G air cards... are those useable for online play? Does anyone use one? What are your pings like?

Most of the cellphone companies block ports that aren't commonly used for things like browsing/email/etc. Sometimes they will unblock ports at your request, but not always.

Some servers use hamachi, which will let you get around the blocked ports, but not nearly all of them. I've connected through my smartphone with hamachi before and had a ping around 200. My speed test ping to kansas city on it was 115.
