I updated my MSN messenger to the new LIVE now stuff. And it would not let my mercs work. Installed it last night and did not play any. Logged in tonight and it would not let me join servers. When I restored to the previous day and updated my McAffee virus all was well.

i use live messenger build 14.0.8064.206 which i think is the latest for vista x64

ive never had any issues with it intefering with anything so i think that u probably just had one of those inexplicable 'pc moments'

try reinstalling u should be ok

After restoring to a point before the install and effectivly undoing it I was able to join. The proggy gave me errors also like 7 of them everytime I started up.
