After Doom 3, id told everyone that they wanted to depart from their usual Doom-clone games and do something totally different.
Well, over the past weeks they’ve started talking about that game: Rage. Turns out that they haven't departed that far from what they know best. It's still an FPS shooter, but the focus is more on outdoors combat and story...not really that revolutionary. Oh well. For those interested in seeing what id software is doing, as well as the graphics of their latest licensed game engine, Tech5, I’ve compiled a list of links that’ll bring ya’ll up to speed.
