Your highs are great, your lows, well, they suck.. believe it or not, chocolate has been known to be an anti-depressant... now, large amounts are bad for the size of your ass, but hey, a few Hershey kisses after lunch might help you out..
of course, you might need a good-old fashioned, "girls only night" of pizza, ice cream, and alcohol. Sappy-mushy movies permitted, angry male bashing music better!
if it doesnt get better after the holidays, you might need some help. People tend to look at depression too lightly. its debilitating, dangerous, and difficult to break the cycle.

just dont forget you have friends here who care about you and are here to talk to and we're not just here for laughs.

Well, not taking oneself to seriously and putting on a careless attitude helps a lot (4 me at least). Depression runs in my mothers family and I know how devastating it can be from family experience (crying all day, 4 no reason and being totaly disfunctional).

Despite some fear that i might get it someday as well, I seem to be immune to it so far. This however does not come without a price tag....i always keep a emotional safe distance (even to family) and am carefull not to attach myself to much as I see these kinds of stress as a potent trigger. If ya cant realy be hit, then the bomb never goes off!

This is not just the case in relations, but also to anything that happens around me (work, global events, you name it). Time will tell if there comes a day I will fall victim to it, but so far I am lucky! Having a good shout at work can also be good thing tho... if stress levels permit it, it's an ideal release valve (again 4 me)!

After a very serious four year thing that ended with an extremely painful mutual breakup (five years ago now), I find being glad for the experience helps.

That, and copious amounts alcohol, depression, and turning into a hermit that plays computer games too much can be a real boon as well. If you get lonely, I recommend dating an evil psychopath midget with a killer bod to attempt in vain to fill the gaping void in your soul. At the very least this will end with you being very glad to be single again. Uh.. or not.

Sounds like you actually have a life with guns and overpowered vehicles 'n stuff though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Focus on the life, be sad for a while, and take advantage of being single. Just let the other potentially sad people know you're taking advantage of said singleness, or you might feel guilty. Nothing ruins a perfectly good hangover like guilt.

I like Incubus! My wife made me go to a 311 Concert, not excited at all, nothing like listening to guys who try to rock out but are beach punks...but Incubus opened for em and I had never heard their music!

MAN! Their album stuff is usually a little more mellow, but live and on stage they ROCKED OUT! Nothin like a skinny dude screaming his lungs out. It sucked tho, cuz I was so pumped after seeing them, when 311 came on...it was total downer....
