Ok....If you guys don't mind....I have a little story about my evening in Eve.


Earlier today..I was flying around in my rifter and got jumped by four frigates.

Fortunately I managed to take one of them with me. But I was forced to pay 2 mil to save my pod.....worth it as I've got a full set of +3 implants.

Anyway....no one from the corp was on so revenge would have been a little difficult. I shoot the attackers a convo....congratulate them on the kill.....and ask to join their corp. They eventually gang me and we go hunting. The whole time;....I'm trying to pick a good time to kill and pod all of them. Then as luck would have it....Kel logs on when we are 2 jumps from Antem.

Only 2 are left with me in gang....I give kel the scoop and we figure out a way to lure them in. I tell them that I want to kill my corpmate and that we will laugh as he whines in local about losing his ship. I jump to Kel....They jump in:):) following me.

This was a blast. Anyone thinking about playing eve should give the free trial a shot as it is the best MMO on the market.

i think this is a underhanded tactic m8, I wouldnt use it again, itss 1 think killing but to befriend and kill, down right sly. Please dont this do this again, kill em ambush but dont do it to whites, it aint good for our reputation

Come on man!

These guys were pirates. You must be kidding. Maybe if someone from the corp was actually on and could give a little backup....I wouldn't need to resort to those methods.

IAC is not a pirate corp...these guys are leaving to form their own corp...They ransomed my pod for 2 mil....therefore they should be treated like pirates.


I still got 2 more to kill:)

Thats how RHN recruited most of its members. Shoot, kill, recruit. It did go wrong in some parts but the rest were fine, some are even directors now and have been in the corp for 2 years. Also that corp, they ain't pirates. Hell they usally hide from us.so many corps hide from RHN.... kinda annoying.

I am not saying its a bad practice, quite often used in ancient times by conquering armies.

But I would have left a target lock on Jack and made sure he knew it.

...it was certainly fun, I was shaking for quite a while after, and the tactic was reasonable considering the previous measures they took.
