Anyone know how to run 2 monitors off of one computer so I could, say, run a game on one monitor and msn on a second monitor..
Thanks

I watched a video help on it and it showed the two monitors running from 1 card :s
thats specific cards only, dunno which others but my old ATI 7200 was able to run 2 monitors.

Yes, the graphics card must support dual monitor, wirth two compatable outputs (one to each monitor) and in Windows XP's display settings, (right click anywhere on a blank portion of your desktop and select properties) you can choose the other monitor (it should show as a greyed-out monitor) and extend your desktop onto that second monitor. Though if you are running dual SLI cards in SLI mode, you can't multi-monitor anyway.
Keep in mind that if you are playing an online game, on one screen, and have a browser or something like msn, you can view them, but you won't be able to use them without ALT-TABing out of your game.
I do this when I play HOMEWORLD 2 to watch TV on my left monitor and have a browser open on my far right monitor, and have HOMEWORLD 2 up on my center screen. HOMEWORLD 2 does not require, and does not benefit significantly from SLI mode. Therefore viewing multiple monitors while playing it does not hamper the performance of the application, it is just one of the many reasons I suck playing it. (Easy to get distracted if you are watching G4 during attack of the show and trying to keep up with Rigid and Vector)
Hope this helps :D
