Bawk!!!

Ok here comes the reality check.

BF2 is a TEAM game. If all you want to do is RAMBO it then dont waste anymore of your time.

Stay out of planes and helos, for now. There is only a limited number of planes and helos available and if all you do is go and crash or get shot down in the first couple of minutes your teammates are just going to get pissed off at you. Standing around waiting on them is just costing your team the game. NOT EVERYONE CAN FLY A PLANE OR HELO RIGHT AWAY.

If you want to enjoy the game you need to get good at ground pounding. I would suggest starting with the medic class. Go around and revive or heal your team. They will appreciate it and if they can count on you then they will cover your back.

Once you have ranked up and have a couple unlocks check out some of the other kits. Each kit is pertinent to a situation that you are going to put yourself into. If you are going to grab the tank or an APC then being and engineer is a good choice. If you have capped the bad guys main base then take Spec Ops to blow up the arty pieces, UAV trailer and the satelite dish.

When the game first came out we loaded up on Anti-tank, medic and spec ops kits. We would pile into one of the fast vehicles and drive like mad men to each flag. Kill the bad guys and move to the next flag.

I would recommend learning to use the medic, spec ops, AT, engineer, assault, support and sniper kits in that order.
