Ok so I bought a brand new Dell computer in March or April and from the time I got it, it freezes not like graphics lag or anything. Like the whole system freezes, I'll be playing WoW it'll freeze and even the sound stutters like a skipping CD or something. So I tried disabling a buch of stuff at startup, downloaded video card driver updates just in case but it still does it. Any ideas? Somebody help me before I :computer

Well its better than a Mac. Sounds like a major system error. Dell has great support don't be afraid to call.
MAKE THEM STAND UP TO THEIR WARRENTY.
Be firm when you say its an ongoing problem. They try to fix everything with a reformat. Dought if that will fix this. hope it works out, good luck.

umm sounds like u have a bad sector in your ram
a few of my friends have dells and one or two of them have had that problem changed their ram an problem gone.
Not to say dell is not good and do back up their pc if it is the ram send it back to them <the ram card that is>.they usually replace it or credit u for it.
Be firm with them though don't let em push u around
BAWk!!!!!!

Could also be the motherboard. When I built the machine I'm currently running, I had to send back and replace the mobo I ordered because it was faulty. It was acting as if there was a bad ram sector as Concrete suggests, but it was actually the mobo. It was doing pretty much what you describe, but not just during games.
