I've been playing some when I don't see anything fun in some of the other games I play, but I never seem to see any chikens besides Twisted, and he doesn't even know it when he sees me CAUSE I DON'T TELL HIM.

Several of us OMO are knocking around in BF1942.

A must have are the Secret weapons add-on and the free Desert Combat mod.

Road to Rome is good too, but its the one I would skip if I had to choose.

If there are any Chikens that want to join up and run and gun, just send us a message and we will hook ya up on our TeamSpeak server.

We play at different times of the day, but I often find several guys playing in the mid afternoon PST (GMT-8). we generally just filter to EA servers, find a map with a good ping and room, and then run around and act all uncoordinated.

There is a bit of a learning curve to the game and at first you get your butt shot off. Here's a few quick tips;

- Never EVER stand still. You will die.

- If you man a machine gun, expect to die very soon.

- Flying planes takes practice. Flying HELICOPTERS in Desert Combat is HARD. Know how to open your parachute, altho its entertaining to listen to your scream as you plummet to your death.

- Guys with Bazookas will ALWAYS kill you in your tank before you kill them. Hold it, thats probably just me. :flames:

- Don't worry, be happy. try to learn the maps as you die repeatedly and often.

- RELOAD early. You can't smack 'em with the butt of the gun like in CoD, so if you run out of a clip....be sure to smile as you die.

- If you can't shoot straight, shoot in short bursts.

- Dive down to the ground and you are harder to hit. Plus once he kills you, you don't have so far to fall.

- If you still can't shoot straight, do the JEEP thing and run the bastiges over!

howdy festus i am at that n00b stage now fed up of being killed from enemy a pin head size away with amazing accuracy but i can fly plane and helicopter now:) and i try to run them over if poss that so funny. anyway ill try and find some of you guys online sometime.

try looking in the "EA best of BF and SW" servers. Lately the guys have been playing the PHILLIPINES map alot.

DC servers are a little harder, as we seem to pick them more randomly.

Damn didnt even know this post of side of the forum's existed.
