Why BF2 kinda sucks:

You dont get points for winning.
Only the commander gets double points when you've won a game/map.
So most players just tend to go for killing as much as possible any way they can.

This leads to:
1. people hogging the tanks (i've seen as many as 7-8 people waiting for a tank to respawn..just waiting there doing nothing but annoy eachother)
2. Nobody listens to the commander, cause whats the use of defending flags if there is much more to gain by just camping another base and getting kills!?

Imho, EA should make a minor adjustment to the game and give EVERYONE extra points for winning the map...or make it so that you get some kinda ribbon or earn points to unlock stuff when winning a game.
Make it WORTH it to win the game.

As it is now, its usually every man for himself and screw the other guy. :(

ii got the Xbox version and it is crap nothing like PC's version only like PC version if online and i don't have xbox live :'(

That is why you got to find teammates Clucker, it is the best way to do it if you are trying to get points. Other than that, go spec ops, find a fast jeep and annoy the living hell out of the enemy commander

Commanders are an iffy thing. I had a commander order my wonderful squad of 1 to take a flag held by an entire squad of baddies.

Yeah, but sometimes (as in 50% of the time) there are not enough squads to order around.

If you get 3 evenly filled squads... then ur a lucky commander :P

Picking a squad should be required b4 entering a game.
Its one of the key features in the game....just like having a commander.
Again, whats the use of having a commander when there are no squads to command?

But why pic a squad if its of no extra value if you can just go around killign stuff by urself...

And ofcourse... i should find mates to play with... but most of you are from a land far far away, and thus play at times when i am asleep in my barracks :P
And if i do get a chiken online....he gets himself banned from the server :D :P ;)

The other Chiken only realizes that you are on when the screen says

CluckerChiken killed SmuttyChiken ... when SmuttyChiken had been on comms the whole time he was in the game and when he did see CluckerChiken online he was going to bed and didn't get a chance to say Bawk! or CyaBawk!

Clucker, I am on the night schedule until June. I am online and playing BF2 at a good time for most European time zones.

First off, get on TS.

Second, click my signature and register at BF2 Tracker and add me to your buddies list. Visit the Tracker site to find your buddies online and what server they are playing on. It gives you everything you need. IP and port number.

I will take you up in a bomber and let you kill lots of people waiting on tanks and such.

The trick to BF2 is finding cooperative teammates that will work with the commander.
