It has been brought to my attention that certain community members of various degrees (like Octothorpe) have been accusing members of TLSC (as well as other groups) of cheats and exploits.
Also, GuerillaChiken himself posted on the use by ONE of our members of plat-spamming in matches. I have recently heard that another chiken is claiming that literally ALL TLSC except for myself (or something near to that effect) are plat-spamming.
Our official stance has been to ban plat spamming by users. Additionally, having personally recruited every member, or at least personally approved the recruitment of every member, I can honestly say that easily 80% of our members have practically never sued plats, and certainly has never spammed them.
As for the few members that HAVE been actively plat spamming, when our official stance on banning plat spamming was posted, some of them griped, but all EXCEPT one agreed to stop, and have been witnessed stopping.
NOW, one member, by the name A-Zhukov|TLSC, refused initially to stop plat spamming. HOWEVER, he is a newer member and wished for me to train him personally. I refused training by ANY of our senior members until he stopped plat spamming. With a great deal of typing and a great deal of irritation, he stopped. In return, I taught him one of my best build orders, and he has certainly had more success with that than with plat spamming, and has stuck to it (incidentally, it is also extremely effective at annhiilating plat spammers, so if neone ever wants it themselves ;-) ... ).
NOW, there are SMURFS easily in gamespy. Chiken, We, TLSC, FC, HSC, and other individuals are all smurfed on a regular basis, even by players such as octothorpe, who wish for these groups to gain a reputation as cheaters/smurfers/exploiters, even at the cost of his own integrity.
SO, if any member of chiken or ANY group wishes to claim that members of TLSC (or again any group) are PERSISTING in plat usage, please please PLEASE take screenshots of it and send them to me. You can find my contact information at www.tlsc.tk, and you can post in the forums (such as complaint forums) linke through our website.
I wish, as I have for 4 years, for good inter-community relations. Hence why TLSC even existed in the first place. So if you persist in thinking that members use offensive plats (don't bother me if they're putting a few plats to defend their OWN ms or nearby starting res field, only if they're sending plats at YOUR res/ms ops just for the sake of offensive ops), please bring it to my attention, I'll fix it! But since I have seen all our members that were doing it STOP doing it, please have some proof .... otherwise it's hard for me to differentiate between who is blowing steam, and who is serious.
There are exceptions, of course, such as members of Chiken who are in TLSC, who I might know personally, and therefore cna judge their relative honesty better, but especially for Chiken I don't know, please do not either BELIEVE claims, or make claims about us exploiting/cheating/whatever without proof, and without contacting me first to solve the problem.
Sorry for the long post, chiken members, but several members of TLSC believed that individual chikens, or large groups of chikens were receiving erronneous information about TLSC, and/or were making erronneous claims about TLSC, and I had to nip it in the bud.
