Hi, i found out you have to be level 10 to tame an animal, but is it true if you tame an eagle you can fly on it?

I've never played a hunter, but I dont think so.. when you "tame" them, they shrink in size, like being domesticated..

I have not made it to 40 with a hunter so I don't for sure.
I do know that you can tame an eagle
There are pretty specific creatures for mounts and I haven't seen an eagle yet

You can buy a mount at L40... depending on faction it will be between 70g ish and 100g... that includes the cost of learning to ride the mount.

There are epic mounts available too that are faster... you can buy these 800g ish or get them through pvp ranks, drops and so on.

Alliance mounts are...
Gnome - mechanostrider
Dwarf - Ram
Night Elf - Tiger
Human - Horse

Horde mounts are...
Tauren - Kodo
Orc - Wolf
Troll - Dino
Undead - Dead Horsie

Warlocks get a hell horse option and Pallies can get a different mount too through a quest.

You can use the mount of a different race in the same faction but you need to get exalted rep with the appropriate group of people.... e.g. darnassus for tigers, etc.
