Ok gang, my joystick took a crap on me. What types do you have/like? I was running a Microshaft Sidewinder 2....I liked it, but am having trouble finding a new one....So give me your input

u may try calling MS and asking for a replacement. i'vebeen aleto replace 2 MS FF2's by calling. and beat of all - it's FREE. if they still have any left, they'll send ya one. if they're out - u b screwed.

The best of the best...Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner II.

Dual stick, you can split them apart. Perfect for both Mech and BF (flying). Plenty of buttons, comfortable and you can use twist or paddle based rotation (toggle switch to select).

It does take up quite a bit of space on the desktop, but I have mine split, thust on the left side of the keyboard, stick on the right side. The thing is built like a tank (been using this one for two years, used the previous one for three).

If you can find one, it's the best IMO.

What Cosmic said. I have the Thrustmaster (yah gotta luv the people who name these things) Top Gun Afterburner FF jstick. It costs about $100. It is not the MS Sidewinder FF 2 but it is close.

I think Fry's has it.

:blob: That looks cool, but I ebay'd another Microshaft Sidewinder 2. As a matter of fact, I got two of em. So hopefully I'll be up and running again in a few days....
