BAWK!

Until PoE comes out, The Way of the BAWK will be running the special forces expansion (with the latest patch). If enough poeple get the expansion before PoE comes out, I'll throw in a few good maps from regular BF2 into the mix.

Note: EA's instructions for installing the expansion say to install the expansion THEN update to the latest patch 1.12. It seems that 1.12 addresses a couple bugs that were found in the expansion.

Naw, I think they borrowed some programing habbits from Micro$oft and made coding a drinking game.

Every 10 lines of code = 1 shot
Every 100 lines of code = chug a pint of beer
Every 1000 lines of code = chug a fifth of wiskey

BF2 Community Members,

We have discovered (as some of you have) an installation problem with a limited number of EA gamers who downloaded Battlefield 2: Special Forces through EA's Downloader. If your account is affected, you will see the following error when you try to install the expansion pack:
“BF2CDKeyCheck.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”
We apologize for this problem and are working quickly to resolve it. We will contact the gamers affected by this issue via email later today with a solution.

Do these stupid fawkers know what Beta Testing is? Obviously not. Every time they release a patch, patch fix patch is required. :computer:

So am I to understand that until I get spec forces I am not going to be able to play on the Way of the Bawk?

Not true.

v1.12 patch allows non-SF players and SF players on the same server. I've already been killed by the new weapons and I don't have SF.
