I really wanna play a game again that i can play with you guys..
First i wanted to try BF2...but i got bored with the Demo pretty quickly.
But FEAR is a whole new ballgame...
It actually managed to freak me out a couple of times.
I dunno how/if it will support MP, but if it does, i would luv to play it with some fo you.

I have no idea mate, any one got any ideas?
As for bf1942, I have just been smufing like hell on it. More for fun than anything else. Useing the tag Got-no-GreenLantern or The-FearlessGoat.
The Fear demo does kick ass though, as for as multiplayer goes I dont think its gona be to hot as the devs themselfs said its a sp game with mp tagged on. Ie Doom 3

If their planning on making a groundbreaking game, a decent muiltiplayer mode is almost mandatory. Some people wont even pick up a game if it doesnt have an excellent muiltiplayer mode, and believe me, the devs know that.

tell id that, as they stated Doom3 Focused on single player. They gave Splash Damage a few months to do multiplayer and even then it was very limited. A shame in itself considering the engine it uses.
If you have been reading about fear youl see they have taken the same approach. So while there will be multiplayer it will be standard and nothing great.
In regards to not wanting to buy single player games, I actually bought hl2 for its single player stroyline not the multiplayer as I Hate conterstrike. Now not everyone will be like me in that respect and will have bought it just for counterstrike, yet that game and doom3 outsold everything by a clear margin last year. The multiplayer isnt what sold it just, more the modding abiltiy as well. Hell I bought UT2K4 just because I knew the amount of mods for that game. That I wasnt dissapointed on with many being commerical quality. Doom3 and Half life2 more so for mods appearing and some of them which are due out in the next few months may get the games many more sales.
Anyhow in you never know they may have something up there sleaves for multiplayer for it, but Id wager its standard death match or maybe Capture the flag at best. Yet if the game is as good as it is looking it may be one of those you have to have

Doom3 lasted only a couple days before it was replaced by better games, such as farcry with excellent muiltiplayer support. Fear sp probobly wont be as scary the second time you
play it, so hopefully they know that.
Half Life 2 had an excellent muiltiplayer mode, and was also riding on an excellent reputation. People who bought Doom3 loved it, but after I beat the sp, it got shelved.

Hey guys...
Well, as to your questions..
I havent played alot late;y...summer and new gf and all.
I used to like RPG's alot, but after NWN and WOW i kinda got bored with it.
So now i am focussing on FPS's again...
I've seen alot of new stuff, from BF2 to Area51 to Fear...and more on the way.
But, since i dont have unlimited ru's (har di har har) i wanna buy one you guys also play alot.
I see that BF2 is one you guys/gals play...but i am more of a space/futuristic/fantasy person myself....so things like Fear and Area51 are more my thing.
Anyway...what else besides BF2 has gotten your interests?
btw, Geordie, you still my bitch you know :P
Well..second..after Dragonic ofcourse :D
HI NEMMY!!

there hasnt been anything of interest bar BF2, Area 51 is very good though and an enjoyable blast. Mp is a bit lacking though.
Only other thing Ive been hooked on is dungeon siege 2 but it will probably take me a year to finish it

Wait, u play F.E.A.R., or the F.E.A.R. demo.
As far as BF2 I stoped playing it a for a while the problem with BF2 is that the maps are way too big for any good engagement. The FPS I play now are Starsiege Tribes, F.E.A.R., and a little of CounterStrike.
F.E.A.R.'s multiplayer really lacks things that a multiplayer SHOULD have. I'm serious, they are planning on making it better with another patch, and I hope they do. Although, F.E.A.R. is focused on being intense, the map already tells u what kind of game u are dealing with.
