But it's not likely, lazy bastards.

The 9th was actually around the whole time everyone thought we weren't. As Stonedog says, we just changed our names and moved to a different state.

But for HW2 we went back.

Nah. It was in HW:C days, where if you did not do fighters, you were dead (not considering frig rushing). So, for every my fighter, 9th had 2 (pretty similar builds, just their were doubled). I died, my ally quit after seeing 2 x 80 missolytes coming to him, and that's how the game ended.

I won few 1 vs 2 in hw2 though. Once against 2 OMOs. Ok, I was smurfing, so for the first few minutes they were rather goofing around than playing. Well, at least untill one of them lost all his subsystems. BTW., my ally during whole that time never moved an inch.

The 9th as it is today is made up almost entirely of Classic players.
