We, those who are the few, who can not afford to build a computer from scratch. We, are broke. We pay bills and that is all we can do.
I call upon anyone who can donate "older" computer parts that he or she has thought to toss out or sell.

I personally need a 1.7 Ghz CPU/Mobo. I have RAM, I have a Graphics card, and I have everything else. But I need a Mobo/CPU combo that is at least 1.7GHz. Right now my machine is only a 1.4GHz. Solid as it is, it is beginning to show it's age. I want to play Battlefield2 so badly and I can't, because my machine at home is so lowly.

I know there are others with this same problem, so I emplore ye who have, to bestow upon us who are needy, your grace and kindness.

If anyone has any advice or a place that will surely finance me (or anyone else in my position), because I've gone to Dell, and they have denied me financing. Gateway 2000 systems SUCK, thier configs are aweful, and Alienware is too expensive monthly for me to afford.
IS THERE ANY ALTERNATIVE!?!? HEELLLP!

I also emplore others in my strife to post here and list what they need.
Also, keep looking at Craigtslist in your area, it's a good site, but you have to be on top of everything to get good deals.

Thanks in advance people!
BAWK!

Do you mean that Tigerdirect has people selling older parts on thier site?... or???...

wow, Tigerdirect is REALLY Expensive as far as I kow. thier systems are just ok, and fairly pricy from what I recall. If they're competitive now, I'll go check them out.

I know newegg is really good, as well as pricewatch.com.
My problem is, I either don't have the money to shop online, or don't have a credit card to do so. Cash is King in my world right now.

Thusly why I'm asking people to donate. If not to donate, then how about a great discount on parts people are not using any more?

well i will never buy a fully built system aka off the shelf comp because i know too much too be fooled into paying that much for what i want, umm the pricing on parts at tigerdirect if fairly good for cpu mb and hd and fair on ram but the sites i shop at it varies but not too much, if i had a the cpu you want id send it too ya but i dont the one ive got is i think 1 ghz pentium 2 i think if i had and cash too spare i would send it too im just that kind of guy bit right now i have about 4$ in my walet and i'll be saving for other stuff that i 'need' so all my finances are tied, but harvest is comming up so if i end up with any extra cash and you still dont have ur cpu i'll email you
