Mini is having problems on his ATI 9250 with a repeating "black screen" of death and then a PCI failure. After mining thru the net, it appears not to be an isolated problem. Changing AGP from 8x to 4x seemed to help many, but unfortunately Mini has a PCI version and that is not an option for him.

Of the 3 p4's I have only one ( an ATI x300 ) works with BF2 and that system is hooked up to only a TV and ancient projector running all my Multimedia applications. My friggin Gaming system only
( geez, didn't expect to be saying "only" on this system so quick :banging: )

has a GeForce Ti4200 in it. The only vid card in my price range right now is the 6200 which I think Spring got. Unfortunately thats probably the best component on Springs box so not a good testimonial. But as a sidenote Spring, I did see some posts on other benchmarking for BF2 and there was reasonable performance way down to like 1.2 gHz CPUs, so be grateful it isn't any laggier.
:alright:

Anyone else running nVidia cards having any problems or want to share your performance results and settings?

The problem is DX9 support, unless a card is a full DX9 card u will get problems.

Your ATI 9250 is a Dx8.1 card so is your Ti4200, the x300 is a DX9 hence the only one to run BF2 with no issues.
