Lately I've gotten the impression that a few Chikens have become a bit frustrated with my style of gameplay. In my defense all I have to defend myself, oops already said that once...what I mean is that when you get past 40 years old and no one worth playing with is online untill 10-11 o'clock at night....where was I going with this.............................................. ......Oh yeah, I can't help it if I get a bit confused or happen to nod off in the middle of a crucial battle or maneuver...............and aaaaaa oh and aaaaaa I get a little forgetfill after about 3 games thinking I already built a facility when actually it was the game before.....what was I talking about.... oh yes...please forgive my absentmindedness...Thank You..GL HF GB.....CRUS.....

No one could replace you at whining BasT :assshaking:
But seriously Crus, don't sweat it too much. It takes a little time to get use to everyone's style of play and build some teamwork. Some Chikens are better at certain tactics and getting a balanced team that can consistently work together takes some time and practice. Most of us know not only where our OWN strengths and weaknesses are, but those of most of the other fowl we play with. I would never suggest that Pirate swarm or BasT try to build anything bigger than a mobile refinery for example. But we've played enough games together that we have pretty much assumed roles and know how to play out a certain map without a lot of comms anymore. I can count on Pirate having a Destroyer out before most peeps have built grav wells and BasT has gotten the enemy wishing they had ALL gone fighters because he has killed 1/2 their collectors before anyone can react. Half the fun is figuring out how to cooperate as a team and stuff some feathers down the enemies throat.
And to those who might be whining about a few loses, grow the flock up and learn to adjust. New teammates present new opportunities to improve your own skill sets by pushing the envelop of your playing styles ... and remember its a game, it's entertainment, so have FUN !!
We need a blob ... :blob:
i can build big.......
amounts of fighters :(

Oh yes, I love my Destroyers, doesn't matter who they belong to, I just like to have'em...lol
I do L2 Bombers as well, but, I used to REALLY suck at swarming.
Recently I've been coming across allies who have needed me to play up front on CB, and I've had to make a ton of fighters. Some times I do really well, sometimes I don't. when ever I'm NOT in a game with other chikens, I ask, tell, and beg my allies to make lots of fighters.
Hell, sometimes I end up in the front wishing I was in the back, but being THE Chiken in the game, I tend to stand up and take command and take care of the fighter duty myself, especially if someone else doesn't. I've been a Chiken a long time, and not once have I wanted the responsability to command OR, be on the counsil, it's just not for me yet. I would love to be on the Counsil, BUT, I really don't think I'd be that good at it because I might forget to attend to my duties of managing things I'd be in charge of. I won't do that to the Coup. I would rather be honest with myself, and the Coup and not be a council bird, and just remain an active member.
Knowing your role in life, until you want to change it is important. If we choose to adapt to your playing style CRUS, then you'll start having better games. It's like Nemmy said. He and I have been playing Homeworld games for over 5 years, so we tend to know eachother playing style. We couldn't tell you how many games we've won WITHOUT a BC, just a ton of Bombers to keep them down is all you really need if you play it right. I'm sure we don't have a problem learning your style, and if you need to be reminded of building something, I'll be glad to ask you during a game ifyou have something or not. We'll look out for you.
try this as well. Once you finish a game, take a 2-3 min break. Try to do something to remove your mind from the game for a short time to let it clean out your RAM, so to speak. just get up and walk around, use the bathroom or something like that. Even a stiff or cold drink helps me out from time to time. Oh yeah, actually getting some really good, quality sleep helps memory.
I hope this helps man, dont' get too frustrated. We all want you to know that we'll be there to have your back as much as possible. Good Cluck bro,
