just thought ya'll might want to know i have strong reason to belive the a player (Major_Tom) i think thats right but it's major tom, may be cheating,

reason why:

after a five min game it read resources 643000, with start ru of 3000, this from peeps i just talked too,

i also played him and after like a regular game 40-50 mins, he had 700000 around there and i had 300000 around there and he only had 16 collectors and 2 mobile refiners i had 20 and 4 you do the math,

i dont know how it is being done but just thought ya'll might want to know

just looking at that... theres large salvage chunks in the dustclowds. This sort of thin ives custom maps a bad name :(

Major Tom is a cheater. The map he uses is a Crimson Bond Kami , style map. The only postion with 600k res is pos 1. He always sets rus to default so it is easy to spot him. His other smurf is lercutus. His specific build is , no cols , cap fac -> 4 carriers. Move a Carrier into the nearby dustcloud-> hyp mod -> shipyard, then just build everything. Hes a noob.

na Im all against modding the game to give advantages, yes i know a lot have and are doin that but to be fair they will chase off what little players there is left in HW2 :(
as bast said an experienced 3 v him should win easally or just force him to play on a normal map.

Anyhow when i get my mod out those maps will be defunct anyhow

me, fireD2, and blackpanther beat major_tom, ikit, and drix on that cheat map...tho fireD2 did most of the work.
fireD2 had a 360,000 score, and that tom had 645,000

Im just finishing off the last of the sommataw ships mate.

Will be releaseing a version shortly for ballance that will have the sommataw, hw1 hiig and Tai plus the normal hw2 reces. As for beast. The working idea right now is to make hw2 Hiig beast but you never know and that may change shortly

It's funny someone mentioned this. Because I remember playing against some people on a Cb map, and one guy had 5 DD's, 3 BC's and 4 Carriers in like 5-6 minutes, and I was bitching that it was IMPOSSIBLE, and that something was up with that.

I've NEVER seen anyone build ALL that stuff so quickly and then march it across the map like it's no big deal. Like he was throwing it in our faces. I've been playing this game a long time and never seen that.

What should be done is get 3 Experienced players who are in Cahoots with the 3 opponents (Smurfs), and play on his map. Then, Major Toms's allies don't do anything, and the opponents get to rape him at will.
Get the whole community behind this and just get Major Tom OUT of the habbit of winning like this. What fun can it be without skill for very long?
But, then again, all he would have to do is smurf and you'ed see it all over again.

Oh yeah, there's another solution too!
It's called STOP MODDING MAPS!
OR
Don't play a modded maps.
Simple!

lol speak for yourself p5y, most of us is a pretty crappy genralisation, i have watched people come and people go from HW2, i remember you starting out, you should of been in there at the start, skill levels generally were alot higher than the enviroment your playing in now.

I know ill pick up your mod snake, as will many i know. Sounds fucking excellent.
