When you're a unit just starting out in MW the thing you REALLY need to do is gain support of other clans and groups. It's called Public Relations. Usually this takes place in game AND on some major forums that people read. The success of a unit depends on it's ability to survive in game and in the forums.
I remember a time when Dysed told me that ELH was a great place for a person to game, they had a kid's division, and were in WMWL. From what I knew of them, they were a great unit.
Too bad some lying sack of shit has to ruin a good name.
Well we were on Gladpit, it was 8-4 we were all pretty crit, and during the exchange we critted them out and they killed all of us and score became 11-12 with 3 mins left, suddenly 3 of them disconnected simutanieously and came right back. game ended 11-12 them winning.
Its totally lame and BS rule needs changed for TD at least.

That is his post at MWL and I paste it in it's entirety here in case he edits it to make himself look better. Now I don't have much in response to the majority of his post; however, I take exception to the last part of his run-on sentence "we critted them out..."
For the sake of argument I will take VexX at his word that he wasn't crit when he lost the connection. However, if someone could find the zonestats for that match, find out how many times he died before he lost connection. Then do the math as to how much damage he took, then find out how much damage his mech could take and see just how damage he could have been. This could verify the valitity of VexX's assertion. It does not, however, make Resa's statement any more true.
Let's first start off with the statement that implies that the three disconnects we had were deliberate:
suddenly 3 of them disconnected simutanieously and came right back.
Let's see what the Cloak log has to say about that statement...

Now, the first thing you will notice is that in the middle there you will note that Rene spawned quite a few times, MANY MORE than what ELH had points for. This is obviously Rene's attempt to respawn (his computer's attempt actually). The next thing you will notice is that Rene and Pixie have the same IP. This accounts for the weirdness when Rene couldn't respawn, disconnected then reconnected and subsequently got Pixie booted off.
The other thing you will note is that VexX disconnected OVER 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO PIXIE AND RENE. Unless you are a moron or intentionally lying "disconnected simutanieously" doesn't imply a 10 minute gap between disconnects. I believe that Pixie being crit when she was disconnected is not an issue here, we acknowledge she was, and it was not an intentional disconnect.
Now, put the whole second part of the run-n in perspective:
1. They didn't "simutanieously" disconnect.
2. It can be proven that Rene wasn't crit.
3. Since they didn't disconnect "simutanieously", the statement that "we critted them all out" is false too, Rene wasn't crit, he was DEAD.
4. The implied misconduct that all three people who disconnected were crit was shown to be false.
Now Onlashoc or Resarector (whatever he likes to be called) said this:
Druid, please show me 1 inncident ELH has been in the wrong or shown any dishonorable or unfriendly play.
Easy. In the second map, where they got their asses handed to them on a silver platter with gold etching, they had a player who seemed to have map problems. This isn't too abnormal, but the "interesting" thing is that he was in a 35 ton mech. This gave ELH a tonnage advantage, which when the tonnage average is 50 tons, makes quite a bit of a difference. ELH said he would reconnect, not "he's having map problems." As a responsible leader, Onlashoc/Resarector should have, AT LEAST, notified us that his player was having map problems and if we had any problems with continuing the match is it was being played. We would have allowed the overtonnage or maybe swapped out a couple mechs, and dropped a play so we could play with the same tonnage. We don't know, ELH never gave us the chance.
I would be willing to give ELH the first drop and play the third on RubblePile if they wish to satisfy their "Honor" but I doubt they want to get their asses handed to them YET AGAIN.
I'll post more about his response to Druid's post later. He lies there too.
