All I can say is WOH !!

I know I'm a bit behind the curve on games, but I just picked this up a couple of weeks ago.

The graphics engine on this game has set the bar again as has the physic engine which is almost life-like when u watch a fuel barrel roll and bump down a dirt road or drop a glass bottle and see it shatter. Yeah, you can interact with a TON more stuff in this version. Tables, desks, etc. all move now, not just some crates. I was a big fan of the 1st Half-Life (sucked in from the word "GO" ... I still remember how my heart was beating at the first reactor failure) and going thru the single player missions was a lot of fun. Reminded me a lot of the Myst series with the physical puzzles. HL2 is like Myst on steriods with GUNS !!

Counter-Strike
I bought the "Collectors Edition" which came with a way kewl T-Shirt and new versions of the original HL they are calling HL:Source and Counter Strike Mod they are calling CS:Source. I was on to other FP shooters and other games by the time the first Counter-Strike and more mods for HL started to show up, so I didn't play on-line much.

I don't think I have heard anyone talk about Counter-Strike at all, but there seems to be several FowL that are into shooter and I highly recommend this new CS:Source which is CS on the new graphics and physics engines. They just released Bots for CS:Source and Mini and I have had a blast playin on the LAN.

Anyone else got any plans to add this to their game list?

im playing it already. i play CS because i think HL2 deathmatch just sucks. Play CS:S with me some time, im usually on every night or every other night

and if you want to have some bot fun put this in the console

phys_pushscale 100000 (pretty much any really big number will do)
and
phys_impactforcescale 10000 (again, just big numbers)

Yup, I have it and have got a little bored with it though i will have another bash soon.

I find the game play a little linear and unsurprising but the physics model is truly amazing.
