A cata reunion?

Not sure how many of you chikens might be interested, but I'm thinking of holding a little cata-reunion over the next few weeks, anyone up for it?

I think it'd be a laugh to get some of the old names back together for some games. For me at least, this is still my favourite game I've played online.

Ok, I've spoken to a few people now, and I'm thinking maybe this weekend? I'm never sure whether it's easier to get people together on the weekends or week nights with these things, but I'm willing to sack off any plans for going out for a weekend of cata nostalgia (read: my council tax is so high I'm too poor to go out).

I'd rather not set any fixed time or plan, but unless anyone has a better time maybe around 8pm GMT onwards on saturday? Probably be a good idea to get on irc #homeworld as well, to make it easier to hook up.

Had some fun games with danger/sleet/Irish and a few others last night. As well as you guys I've had interest from Artoo, Cat, Danger and Meafy so far, and we're probably getting fat, loke and beamin, ruthless+ other SLS and Rata+ some old skool gurus, so should be a laugh :)

Lot of people still play cata surprisingly.. The past few days I have been on playing with silencio and a few others. One point there was about 20 people on. Muaha won still cannot cope with Sleet's uber beast skills though ;) *begins randomly zapping his infection beam everywhere*

Teh original homeworld isn't a dead game either. Was on the other day and saw about 10 people there.

Played a few games, los all of em cause I can't even remeber how to play.

Yea, homeworld is more alive than cata (average night theres about 15 on).. than again hw was also better received than cata- most people made up their mind about cata without ever even playing it.

cata was ok.. not that great as far as multiplayer went.

I should really go back and tangle around with you guys some more in teh good old games.
