...welll that sucks. Did his IP adress get rotated or something? did he pay for a dynamic IP without knowing it? I know my ISP is kinda gay when it comes to access on other ports as well (stay away from Verizon DSL...its really not that good)

my ISP or my ISP's upstream ISP was only routing inbound packets and discarding outbound packets (geeks like me know what this means). Which means that I fawk all could be had from my TS and MW servers for Peek's wake.

Nice to play with the OTHER welsh bastard, the remaining scottish dork, slinky, the tree shagging canuk, and a few AC hackers.

We all miss Peeker, and will always remember his accent and his sense of humor (note I spelled it the CORRECT way with only one "u". GODDAMNED IMPERIALS!).

GODDAMENED.... ER.. ER... EVERYONESS!!!!

Yeh it was a blast, taking silly configs and just playing for FUN :)

Its a pity some people didnt or wouldnt see the point of the server and still did the hide n' pop tart thing.

But for the rest of us it was still a fitting tribute to our buddy.

Bawk!! Peek u would have loved it :)

uuh, how could this even happen? did the ISP change which ports to forward different packets of data? This could contribute to the loss, since they did not return to the TS server...although i dont know how the hell this could happen unless somebody did it on purpose....or they are just plain stupid (the ISP i mean, not you mooch :clubbed: )

NO CLUE what happened. As you can see, the inbound traffic was being routed, but the outbound traffic was getting routed to the bit bucket.

Maybe it was a dirty pair of fiber links (it's a DS3) that got bumped, I've had the problem at work.

I was rather disappointed that DruidQueen didn't join us on TS. No fun insulting someone when they're not there to hear it.

But yea, running around in "Catapult Brawlers" was HILARIOUS. Although I think we should make a rule that Slinky can't use a SSRM Vulture unless it's in matches...
