ok. setting up a router is absolute cake...i can explain it now, and will be on TS after 12...here is an explanation

1. Disconnect your Cable internet from the computer its currently plugged into.

2. Take another Ethernet Cable (normal CAT5) and plug it into the router and into your cable modem. There will be a slot on the back saying Internet Connection, plug it in there

3. Then there will be multiple other ports for which to plug in computers, use those for your other 2 comps and run ethernet cables into the modem.

4. You will not have to set up any fancy or special internet connection since you are hard-wired to the modem (as in non-wireless). Just activate the Local Area Connection if you are in Windows. Linux wise it should just connect normally without anything special, thats what it did for a linux box of mine, i didnt have to enable anything

You have to update your firmware as soon as you humanly can. If you do not, it will cause fluxuations in your connection speeds and it might even drop you off every 5 minutes and need to re-establish a communication to the router, please dont make the same mistake i did...try playing FFXI with your connection dropping off every 5 mins, not cool
