Id love to try it but my system would probably blow up after all the tweeks i did to get doom3 running good on my machine. Tell me this though, is it heavy on your system ie lag etc or does it run well for a bit then lag etc

yeah i think they system the got in is like is just the mix of base building and gc style controling points! gj relic after HW2 failure they did they're job!

First of al i do think that Relic did a good job with HW2. Any way the game does not lag as long as you do not play with 6 or 8 players. There are sync problems and you can not check players ping but it is just a beta.

The fact you need to control points and build really makes the game intresting. I have a 2.53 pentium 4 with 256 ram and a 9600 radeon video card and the game works wel.

IMO control points mean nothing in 90% of the online games, they're like mines. This is because, unfortunately most people set Annihalate as the only win-condition, hence control points only exist to give requisition.

Set some other ones, such as Strategic Objective control, etc., especially if you want a fast, chaotic game. When you set modes such as this control points really mean more than just resources.

yeah i think stratigic, control and Annihalate should all be set on as a take and hold the centre game is hella fun, as it makes people attack even when they dont wanna!

There are some balance issues that need to be worked out, as some units such as tanks can be built quickly and can last for a long time (infantry vs. tanks doesn't last very long), but otherwise the game flat out rocks.

I went to a friend's house who had a better internet connection than I did who played the beta -- he showed me the tutorial, and from what I could tell, the graphics were amazing. The dreadnaught punching through enemy infantry with its little servo rotater spraying blood and intestines everywhere.

Fun. Oh .... it's rated M by ESRB, btw, because of the blood and violence in the game.

Anny tips against eldar?

I had a close match i killed 142 eldar :D Lost 192 Brave chaos soldiers...

I had most points i hit him hard at start and i totaly killed his base.

He fucked up my base but i build 4 turrets around my lest base thing and massed my forces there. He came and i killed em but than he had like another 20 forces!!!!!!

How could that be! The whole game said i was winning and than i lose and than i get pissed off.

Any way how to kill eldar tel me cause their leaders and bansai shit fucks also can do close combat.

Possesed did wel again and my little minios are good gun food

Wel i am trying to get my "gaming" temper under control. I stopped drinking during the week and wel i "try" to be nice.

Even had some anger managment!! :banging: (really fun)(but that was with work for the fun of it).

Just get pissed sometimes (alot).

ikit you have to have a more balanced force, an edlar player knows you will overpower them in a fire fight but close combat you are only effect with raptors and possessed things, when play marines i use 1 of assualt marines if not 1 squad of normal marines including my hero to hold em off while my heavy bolters wipe clean there close quaters guys

dont get pissed as its just a game and remember eldar and orks basic units are almost cannon fodder thats why you had a higher kill rate then you enemy.

try artillery against eldar...always works.

gravtanks, vypers, and fire prisms are lightly armored enough so that several whirlwinds working together will take it out rather quickly.
