Friends I have over in Renegade Leigon twisted and pulled my arm till they convinced me to get Battlefield 1942.

Now that's all I got.
however i've downloaded and installed the following....

As far as i am aware if you do not have a valid serial key for the game you cant play on line.

It is a good game, blows AA out of the water :P

I play BF1942:Desert Combat almost daily. You will find me on the Over the Hill server more often than not. Another good server is one labeled GAZ/ELAL/DShields/24, something like that. If you want to get in some practice on an excellent server try the [HEL] server.

You need to config your controls to use your JStick for flying helos and planes.

Find me on coms and I will help you as much as possible.

I have the game but can not understand that every one is so excited abouth it.

I bought it when it came out. It was full of bugs. And i never got the real tention or excitement like when you play games like Soldier of fortune 2, return to castel wulfenstein or Call of duty.

What makes BF so good?

I might give it another chance. But tell me why should i give it another try?

Well due to system instabiility (i need a bigger h/d and not investing the money since i have to move in 28 days)
So now i"m just playing Battlefield 1942 with the 1.16.19 patch.

Once i get settled in at my new place I'll have a better computer to get the rest of it up and going.

Inspector thanks for the offer of help. I'll gladly take any advice I can get. (though till I get a joystick when I move I'll play key/mouse)
