CITY OF HEROS MMORPG

Ok, so you say you're not into a huge expansive MMORPG..well, neither am I.
But, guess what, when I saw this game, and how it was played, and then read some of the game manual ( small compared to most games), I was Hooked Instantly. I had to have it. So, I saved up some money and BAM, it's been 8 days now, and I can't stop playing it!
I had the pleasure of having 5 of the last 8 days off, cause my father/boss is not feeling well. Sooooo, I've had my head in that game every chance I get. I can't say enough about this game. It's got ALL the things in it you think a comic book Hero world should have. I was so impressed that I started another Hero as well.
I've come to find that because of the way you can customize and create and build your Hero through out the game, that there are so many builds, that my attention will be in CoH for many many many months to come. It's what Diablo2 was supposed to be, and wanted to be, only in a Metropolis type setting in a paralell universe. When you see it, and then play it, you'll see why I'm so geeked out on it.
Please Trust me on this one. This game is an instant Classic, and next year, they're coming out with a game called City of Villains, and it'll be bringing PvP player support along with it. THAT is going to be the impressive part. Imagine playing a Good guy, or a Bad guy, aginst other good/bad guys. People, the game you've always wanted, is HERE. You always wanted to be a Super Hero?.. Well, now you can. Spiderman can't hold my jock in this game. Superman, well, he'd PWN my ass in a second, if that gives you any idea how this game is. They don't yet(or may never have) the DC or Marvel rights to include super heros from those comics, but that's ok. Because People/players are creating them in the game are doing EXACTLY what that super hero would do in the COmics. It's super fun people! Totaly worth it in MHO.

If you HAVE this game or are going to get it, please create your new Hero in the INFINITY server, and put Rhox on your Friends list. I'll help you out as much as possible. See you there!

Kill badguys, uncoveer plots of the evil persons and bring peace to the numerous cities (each harder then the other).

ANd once the epxansionpack "City of Villains" is released in feb 2005, you can also play VILLAIN and thus start Guildwars and stuff..

Aye laddie, you did find me, and we had some great fights. The pics you got are cool.

The pix Clucker has show here is a "Door Mission" in the Tsoo story arc. It's the building of the LAST mission in that story (Thank god!)
The guys we're battling in those pics have mind control skills that give us head aches and make us unable to fight, or they make us go to sleep, or they outright Hold us in place so we can do nothing while they continue to attack us. They're called Yellow Ink Men, and they SUCK! Every one hates them because they lock you down, and then beat on you. When you have 2-3 of them doing this, as well as 3-5 other guys doing damage to you, it gets REALLY annoying. But, when it was all said and done, WE Won, and completed the mission.
I had Clucker SKed (Sidekicked, where when I sidekick him, he's my "little buddy", like Robin to my Batman, and he fights at one level below mine. Causing him to do TREMENDOUS amounts of damage, as well as take tremendous amounts of damage compared to his Real level). I was using Laccolith Titan, he's a bad ass..

Ive been wanting to try this game for a while.... but I cant bring myself to shell out 49.95 to buy a subscription based game that doesnt even have a free trial. :disgusted: I bought Shadowbane the day of release and played it for about a week! lol Maybe the price will come down when the expansion is released.

Holy hell this game is addictive...I've been up all night playing it (Pixy Stix and Mountain Dew rocks :blob: )...I got a 4 or 5 ft midget Magic Tanker with the rock stuff and Invincibility....I'm running around in there and it's like...What mobs? lol...Bodies everywhere...Only lvl 6 right now but damn...I been at it since slink went to bed, shortly after posting...but now the sugar high is wearing off I think..sleep now, I can hijack her computer when she goes to work MWUAHAHAHAHA~cough~.....

Oh yeah...price is 30 or 40 bucks now too

FFXI owns COH. I heard from people the game gets too damn repetative when you reach higher levels. FFXI is my personal preference though. Much more expansive as well.
