There's a user on Relica named Texaschiken, it could just be a coincidence, but if it was someone outside/inside of cc using that name it'd be kinda disrespectful.

If they are active and still use that nick, it's highly disrespectful as Texas was a much-loved chiken (before my time) that passed away some time ago.

Foresaken, TexasChiken has been gone from us for a very long time.

He was a valued member and freind of the coop and I can asure you this guy you mention is a poser. Texas died and left behind a wife and two children and the rest of us.

We miss him alot and I hope whomever this is stops.

I suppose he could have played the game once or twice and the name is still just left over in the registry. I tried to find some sort of mod to write to on that site to have it looked into, but was having trouble finding someone. That's a pretty old game isn't it?

I've spoken to him; he has no clue even what Chiken is.

He's in my regiment on SG, and I was like, hey, are you a chiken, some cool ...

and he was like wtf?

so ... he means no disrespect;

massive multiplayer online real time strategy -- says it all

I can secure a spot in some regiments for all homeworld players; reg's aren't like clans or nothin; just built-in army type set things for players to join inside the game; actually, with a few strings pulled and enough players, you could probably secure a Chiken Regiment.

Awfully strange coincidence with the the "k" only mispelling and all, but I guess it could be just that. Someone might want to let him know the facts on that though. I don't think I'd be comfortable with that nick knowing the circumstances around it.

I'm well aware of who Texas was, thats why I said it'd be disrespectful.

Also, I am pretty sure it was misspelled as the k, though I am not 100% sure.

It IS misspelled as the K ... that's why I asked the person.

SG has over 1000 players on at all times; he has no clue whatsoever who the Chiken Confederation is, or anything. I think he had to drop the C to fit the name in.

What's worse, you cannot change names once you've set them in SG, becasue the game is so progress-based in a lot of ways, and a couple other reasons.

Don't know what to tell you guys; it's completely and utterly unrelated, IMO.

However, you should still try SG ... unless you go to the veteran planet and join the regiment Arcane Sentinels on the faction Terminus, you're not likely to encounter ole TexChik anyway.

massive multiplayer game, extremely fun, and very addictive.

I picked up the game because MVB told me to do so, played for about an hour, and got hooked. And now I can't stop playing it...brutal.

it's starcraft with a bit of RPG elements mixed in, and then it's blasted with koreanization.

oh, btw, is a good idea to start your character

with tact5/clout12/edu17/mechapt6
make sure you get 6 of each unit type, and don't mix and match them in battle, or in purchase (you'll find out why soon enough)

mostly, ya'll can figure it out, and/or feel free to ask someone in game ... but start your stats off like that, cuz it's a lot harder to change 'em later on (although it's doable) ... and those are good stats to use to get the feel of the game while still being useful
