can you ask your buddy to download the desert combat mod for you and put it to disc? if not we will sort it some other way, i got it i think.

desert combat is a modern day as bf is world war 2, so with DC you got jets and helicopters, hard to fly at 1st needs a lot of practice + up to date weapons. theres a lot of difference between BF and DC when it comes to flying. but its an awesome game

With the ve-hichels, it's quite simmy, like Mech but with an FPS element. I like it because even when running around doing the shooty-shooty thing, it's no where near as twitch-o-matic as UT or other FPS's.

AA forever! who needs BF when AA is everything ya need and with the coming patch we will see AA running the very new UT2004 engine :P n00bs!

AA...bah. Run around, shooty-shooty...heck you can do that in 50 different games. BF has airplanes, tanks, ships, subs, heliocopters and SCUD launchers. For a Mech person, BF is the best of both worlds (sim/fps).

Lone, anything you know about physics and the Bernoulli's theorem )or the Venturi effect, as you prefer...) related to dynamics, throw out the door. Each aircraft does have quirky flight charactaristics (the Hind is a pig, the Fulcrum rocks, the Harrier sucks ass air-to-air, etc.) for the most part, it's flying in la-la land, no wind to worry about, no turbulance, etc. But it's a hell of a lot of fun.

If I dont get AA in the mail soon, seeing as I probably got ripped off anyways. Lonestar do you have the BF patches and stuff on disc? cause if I need to il give you my address and you can send me em. Im going to wait 1 or 2 more days for AA to come.
