Does MW4 mercs require MW4 to play?

No, Mercs is a standalone game. You only need to purchace that one game.

Then Download the Micro$oft patch.

Download the MekTek expansion (free).

Download the Vengence and Black Knight maps and install them.

Doanload all the other custom maps the servers usually run.

Mooch forgot that you should have the Expansions for mechs.

They are not absolutely required but you get some kickbutt rigs with the expansions.

is mercs better then MW4? and on amazon it said it was only $20, which is unusual couse most games now are like $60

If you want to get some great games and join some ladders, outside single player, then the only option is Mercs.

Although, I found MW4 to be a better game technically it is "gamer standard" for Chiken and most groups.

Is there a way to download all the Vengence and BlackKnight maps. The only ones I see were the extra Vengence maps and then you got to convert them.
