Chiken Code of Conduct

Who we are

We are a group of online gamers that play for the enjoyment of the game. We have a council of five and hold regular elections with nominations to the council open to all members. Our purpose is to have fun, make friends and help make the online gaming community a fun place to be. We will promote friendship, sportsmanship, civility and respect.

Our Code

While friendly jibes and jokes are allowed, outright flaming of another gamer while using the CHIKEN tag will not be tolerated. Any Chiken found to be doing so would be dealt with by the Council at their discretion.

The use of foul and abusive language is completely unacceptable. The council will again deal with any instances of such. Please remember that many of our members have children who watch and play online.

All members, no matter their capacity, are to maintain a high standard of civility. This involves, but is not limited to, personal behaviour while presenting oneself as a Chiken, performing any function relating to a public capacity whilst a Chiken, and presenting a strong showing of support for fellow Chikens especially in public areas.

It is of vital importance to maintain the highest standards when interacting and acting along with members of the club. Members of the same division are expected to support each other as well as being loyal to the Chikens.

Respect is also to be given to one's enemy no matter their level of skill or apparent lack of integrity. Simply put, whenever a member of the Chikens is conversing or interacting with anyone within or outside of this organization they must be respected and treated as equal. If the other proves themselves to be beneath your station do not resort to petty threats and insults. Treat opponents on the battlefield and off with respect even though they may not deserve it. Do not harm the excellent reputation that the Chikens have built.
