SOUP is plays that game.

Personally i think it sucks.....compared to TA ( i know a 6 year old game ). TA Rules all RTS out at the moment TA's unit controll and diversity with strats still make it #1 in my book.

I agree with those that say it sucks. I loved the older C&C games (by Westwood) and was foolish enaugh to blindly buy this game based on the name alone.

In short:

* It has a idiotic clumbsy interface, one which even a fool can design better.

* It has a realy stupid AI.

* It is vry limited in configuration options. I could choose only from 2 resolutions. Command line options where nowhere documented.

* Could not do any MP, due to downed server or other bugs (i did patch the game). The procedure to register (especialy the interface again) is horrible iilogical.

* I had the single player game out in almost a day. It was no challenge and I did not feel to replay or try one of the other factions.

I simply gave the game away to my brother which does like the game still. To me its just an annoying piece of crap, a good and proven concept killed by total incompetence!

Just my 2 cents, but treat them like its worth a 100 dollar, as it saves you money and agony!

I had it, but it was so boring that I sold it to buy another game at EB. After playing HW series games, all other RTS I try just seem to pale in comparison.

I was lucky and found it on Ebay so I didn't drop a fortune on it. I feel sorry for all the peeps that paid full price for it though, cuz there is just so much better than that piece of crap right now..

I have it, like it and do not care what you guys think, how about dem apples :). J/K, Each is own. I didn't like it at first, but now that i can use the keyboard, the game is more intresting, build faster, control units better. I personally think they could have made the game better, but oh well. If anybody wants to play, IM, on ICQ or Yahoo. I'm either playing Mercs or Generals.

Never like the C&C games that much. Give me Starcraft anyday or TA. Now the real question is does anyone play TA anymore?

You know, I finally took a crack at playing starcraft and single player bores the piss out of me. Never liked Warcraft 2 either. I guess as far as old school goes, there's just C&C people and there's WC/SC people. Warcraft III looks cool though.

TA was out before StarCraft if I remember correctly.
If you want an excellent Strategy game, play MAX. Unlimited units and Unlimited Upgrades on units. Unfortunately it is pain to get loaded and working.
